Starling box

Starling Box

Despite their spectacular murmurations, starlings are actually a red-listed species in the UK, having declined by two-thirds since the mid-1970s.

They naturally nest in tree holes and cavities, but urbanisation has reduced these options. Our Starling Box provides a safe, enclosed space for breeding and roosting.

Starlings are not only beautiful but also ecologically important: they eat garden pests like leatherjackets and chafer grubs, and their flocks provide one of the most iconic sights in the British countryside.

By offering them secure nesting, you help ensure future generations can enjoy their dazzling displays.
